sound sculpture project

During her time abroad in Ireland, MaryDrew took her first sculptural class. In which, for one project assignment of a sound/video sculpture, she created this audio. By compiling personally recorded audios of both her own father playing the piano in his own childhood home overlaid with conversations and singing of her mother’s parents. This sound is an homage to family. she played it locally on the radio and received it through an old boombox.
